Wiring incorrectDriver And Passenger Side Halogen Headlight, With Bulb(S), Clear Lens, Chrome Interior, Signature Series
3.0/5
I have a 1999 Ram 1500 that uses 9004 headlight bulbs. The Spyder headlights are wired for a 9007 bulb. It took me a while to figure what the heck was wrong.

Thumbs UP for the product & cost of ProductDriver And Passenger Side Halogen Headlight, With Bulb(S), Clear Lens, Chrome Interior, Signature Series
4.0/5
Had to order three times in order to get the right headlights and right order!!! Was very excited to get these lights. They arrived boxed individually (left and right boxed individually then both in one big box. Somebody forgot to insert wiring inst. My Dodge Sport has 2pc light assembly w/2 plugs (1 high & 1 low beam). These new lights are a 1pc kit w/1 plug & there are three seperate wires coming out the back (wht, blk, & red) for the halo's and led's. Without wiring instructions I wasn't sure how to wire them up. I went to the manufacturer's website for instructions for that model but they showed 4prs of blk/wht wiring. I called then called the manufacturer and they said I got the wrong part ID-# even though the website shows the correct part & number (from the front veiw). Grrrrrr, for this price I didn't want to experiment and short something out. Removal of old lights was fairly easy but trying to install the these new lights, I discovered that because it is a one-piece light kit that is curved-in-shape, I now need to remove the abs-bumper cover, bumper, & factory fogligths/wireing in order to get the lights in place & mounted. Because Im not a bodyman or electrician, body shop installation est $300 to install them properly. Total cost for new headlights now about $525. The sales ad says installation is moderate, it was difficult! But they do look nice and lets face it, NICE doesn't come easy or cheap.
