Latch works great, and perfect fitment. Only thing I have noticed is the hood open light comes on sometimes even though the hood is closed.

Hi,
This is just the mechanical hood latch lock mechanism. There is no switch with electrical connector and no description about if it comes with a switch for the light indicator.
