Very easy transaction with minor complaint.Factory Style Hood Primed

I first contacted by phone to ask some questions about ordering , After I was asked some questions I was told to wait as the person said he had to verify before he could answer. when he returned he stated that the hood was not in stock . I informed him that I was on their website and it clearly showed in stock. He then stated that that was a mistake and it will be updated as out of stock. I checked a couple times thought the day and it always showed in stock. A few days later I placed the order on line and it was accepted. It arrived well packaged with no visible indications of damage to the plastic wrap or cardboard. Upon removing the hood from the carton there was 3 minor dents on the drivers side at the rear of the hood that had to have been there before shipping since there was no damage to the outside of the shipping packaging . This was too minor to demand correcting since a little bondo will remedy it. This is the only reason for 4 stars. It fit fine and made a big improvement over the very dented original hood. I only rated 4 on the appearance because it was visible and 5 for quality since the dents were not part of manufacturing.

Upon checking, this part will only fit the 1968-1978 Volkswagen Standard Beetle (Does NOT fit Super Beetle). We do not carry a hood for Super Beetle, convertible.
