When I received the hood it was bent and dinged all over. I first thought the shipping process caused it, until I took it to be painted and the painter said it was bad part. His words "it would be easier to fix and paint a coke can" and he was doing the work for free.

Yes, that's correct. The GXP Sport Package comes with a different hood. But like what's stated on our vehicle fitment information, this hood only fits the models not equipped with the Sport Package.
