Hi Greg, I'm glad to assist you. No, it is not. The Air Temperature Sensor or the Air Intake Temperature Sensor (IAT) determines the temperature of the outside air entering the engine. Its task is to supply the engine control unit (ECU) with an important measurement for correcting the mixture formation and the ignition. The sensor is probably built into the radio itself since it measures the temperature of the radio display.
