Replaced the coil pack on a 2012 Chevrolet Sonic 1.8L that just began showing signs of misfiring. The plugs were replaced not too long ago, so I removed the old coil pack and found that the rubber cone boots appeared rough and worn. This can contribute to shorts and misfires, so I replaced the pack with the new ones and the occasional misfiring was gone. The car runs great once again thanks to the new coil pack.

I'm not the mechanic that installed the spark plug and coil set. I can only attest to the difference in how my car runs now, in a few words, 'it runs and sounds so much better '.
