One died in less than a year…Ignition Coil, Set Of 4, 1.5L, 4Cyl, Cop Supercoil Series
2.0/5
I purchased these thinking I would see better performance. I probably did see some improvement but today one of the coils died. It has been in use for less than a year and likely has less than 10k miles on it. I would recommend a different brand of coil. Disappointed…

Better MileageIgnition Coil, Set Of 4, 1.5L, 4Cyl, Cop Supercoil Series
4.0/5
I installed a set of 4 of these in March of 2019. (Supercoil #140078) with a fresh set of plugs (Autolite XP3924). At first I was amused at the idea of putting Accel performance parts in my 2012 Prius C. The goal was to improve mileage as I drive around 400 miles per week. The Engine computer compensated for the Hotter spark by leaning out the fuel ratio. The net result was no change in drivability, however my mileage went from an average of 53 MPG, up to 60 MPG. I was quite impressed with the performance. The down side was the Coil on cylinder #2 failed in June of 2020 after 15 months, and less than 17k miles of driving. The OEM Coils had 118k miles and still work. (I put them back on. I always save old parts with experiments) Inspected the plugs, #'s 1, & 4 had normal residue, #2 was wet and shiny from unburned fuel, & #3 was slightly melted with metal transfer from the electrode. (Might be from the hotter spark) All in all, they do the job, and they do it well, however the durability is in question for me. I still need to do the math and decide if it's worth putting a new set on every year or so for a 7 MPG improvement.
