After installing the previously mentioned upstream O2 sensors, I cleared old and active codes and it cured the rough idle and no power issue.... I would recommend having it scanned to determine exactly the faults are...

I had the same on a 2001 325xi, I didn’t want to spend a ton for them at the parts store and these are still working great after a year or more!

I have a similar problem with my X3 and everything is pointing to O2 sensor failure. Replacing both upstream sensors this weekend
