My 97 Jeep Wrangler was hard to start and had very little power. I installed new part in two minutes and Check Engine light is gone.

Question: What size bolt and nut is used to mount 1997 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0L 4wd ignition coil?steven s. / Oct 18, 2022
Hi Steven, I'm pleased to assist you. We do not have the bolt and nut specifications because we do not stock them. Some of the old installation hardware on your 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 6 Cyl 4.0L can probably be reused, or you can take them as a sample to an auto supply store and purchase them locally. If interested, use the link below to order at 40% off the regular price today while supplies last. I hope this is helpful. Enjoy your CarParts.com online shopping experience!

You will need a 10mm socket and a small ratchet because the space is tight in there. A trick some guys use is to remove the BRACKET that the coil is mounted onto instead of the coil itself - the bracket is held onto the engine by studs which are easier to reach and deal with.

Answered by Naptown Morgan / Wed, Oct 26Question: I have the two fuel injectors in the middle that aren't working could that be that two of the coil packs are bad?Randy O. / Jan 25, 2024
Hi Randy, I'm glad to assist you. We suggest having the vehicle diagnosed by a mechanic for them to check and pinpoint exactly what part you need to replace. I hope this helps, and we thank you for inquiring.
