PT coils for a GL.Blaster Oe Performance Series Ignition Coil, Sold Individually

I own a GL1200 Honda and was having problems with the ignition coils. One day I saw someone one Youtube replace his coils on a GL1100 with coils from a Dodge Neon (Same as a PT Cruiser Engine and drivetrain). You can only get aftermarket coils for the GL1200 now and they are usualy from China. So I decided to go with High Preformance coils to get alittle more preformance and fuel economy. Needless to say, It was a "GOOD CHOICE". The MSD coil pack is working very well as expected. The shipping was free, but don't expect them the next day.

I have had several MSD Coils on a few Dodge Neons, and each MSD Coil has failed after a year. There is no quality in my opinion of this Coil. Each Coil has failed in more than one area of the Coil itself, it seems they just are not going to last and for what small amount of "extra" spark they potentially make, they are not worth using. Actually the original coil from the factory produces enough spark for any application including high end race applications. The MSD Coil "looks" nice but is not going to last and tests do not show on any of my cars, the MSD improving any performance. They have been a waste of money and when they fail so often, just a headache to have to deal with. I do not recommend this product at all. MSD normally makes a good product but not this time.
