Answered by Embry S. / Thu, Jun 18Question: When replacing a this part .do you have to program the key?Terrence B. / Feb 17, 2022
Hi Terrence, I'm pleased to assist you. There is no need to program the keys. Unless you have anti-theft, you will need to perform an anti-theft relearn procedure after installing the new lock cylinder and key (not program). You can do it yourself to relearn the keys (if with anti-theft). Click on the link below to order at 51% off the regular price today while supplies last. I hope this is helpful. Answered by Jeffrey C. / Sun, Oct 30Question: Do it have to be programmed?Polly / Oct 29, 2022
Hi James, I'm glad to assist you. No, it does not need to be programmed. If you want the matching factory OEM part. The AC Delco part number, D1405D, is the one you need. It does not include the keys (you can use the original keys) and requires coding at a GM Dealership. Grab our low-price offer and click the link below to order today. Happy shopping!
