Hello! I would refer your to a vehicle specific repair manual, and use connector pin numbers, as colors can vary by manufacturer

Question: Hello Mia!!
My question is, does this part fit on a 00' chevy, s10, 2.2 L motor, LS?? I saw my truck description but for a 99'.Jua A. / Oct 12, 2020
Hi Juan,
This brand new replacement ignition switch does not fit your 2000 Chevrolet S10 LS 4 Cyl 2.2L. We have 2 alternative brands available made by Standard(part#SIUS343) and AC Delco(part#ACD1423D).
To check the fitment please use our Vehicle Selector — which can be found towards the top of the homepage as well as all categories, search results, and product pages — can help verify if a part will fit your specific application.
To enter your application, simply select your vehicle’s year, make, model, sub-model, and engine type and click “Go.” Once your application is selected, you’ll see a “Guaranteed to Fit” badge if the part will fit, and we recommend that you also double-check Your Vehicle Fit Details as well as the Vehicle Fitment Information table on the product page.

Question: On the ignition switch there is a plastic connector that has two wires coming from it, Brown/Green wires. Does that plastic piece have an actual name and can it be bought without having to buy the whole ignition switch again?DONNA R. / Apr 09, 2022
Hello! We do not sell that connector separately. It's possible that it's available from your local dealership, but I'm not sure.
