This is only the electronic part that goes after the ignition lock cylinder. It is the Ignition Lock Cylinder that usually comes with keys.

Answered by Andrew B. / Wed, Feb 08No key is need. You will see when you remove the steering column molding. The ignition key assembly and the switch are held together by one Phillips head screw. Very easy to install
