Question: What does a knock sensor do exactly ? And where is it located at on my 94 Toyota pickup 3.0L V-6. My check engine code was #52 , knock sensBig red / Aug 27, 2021
Hi Jonathan, I'm pleased to assist you. The knock sensor listens and records the noise from the engine block and converts these into electrical signals to prevent further engine damage. It is located on the outside of the engine block. Yes, engine code 52 means there is no signal from the knock sensor. This part is correct and guaranteed to fit the 1994 Toyota Pickup DLX and SR5 6 Cyl 3.0L. Click on the link below to order at 80% off the regular price while supplies last. I hope this is helpful.
