Thank for taking a time to post a feedback. We are sorry to hear that the lift support did not fit properly to your vehicle. Based on our catalog this part will fit to your 2009 Mercedes Benz ML350 except a Power lift gate.
I see that your return request has been addressed by one of our return specialist.
As I read the notes of your return request, your vehicle has a power lift gate and part would not work for model with power lift gate.
