I installed these on my wife's 2015 Lexus in under 10 minutes with just a thin flat blade screwdriver to disengage the OEM struts... Had the wife hold the hood up while a did the quick change out. I watched a You Tube video on the install on the install of these earlier and told her we would be done in under 15 minutes. She estimated twice that. I proved her wrong on this one : ) : )

Our car, 2013 Lexus RX350 was made in Canada and the parts we purchased from you works well. I can not answer the question since the car was made in Japan and I have no experience with that year of model.

To replace lift supports, you'll need various tools:
1) A flathead screwdriver.
2) A safety stand to prop up the hood, tailgate, or trunk.
3) Safety glasses for eye protection.
4) Gloves for hand protection.
