These work to support liftgate glass on tailgate of Jeep.
Removed old ones after figuring out needed to fully back out screw which holds bottom of support. Top came off with small amount of prying action.
New ones snap on easily at top. Screwed in new screw which is permanently attached to bottom of support.
Both old supports were kaput, so use vice grips to clamp on support rod on one side enabling glass to be left up while working. After first new one installed, it held up glass by itself to work on second.
Took a few minutes for entire process after I figured out the fasteners (instructions are terrible). Saved $50 or more on Jeep dealer price.

Great fit, easy install, and does the job well on my Grand Cherokee. Lift gate and glass go up and stay up as they should.

Have older model CRV with over 240,000 miles. It is beginning to show some wear and tear and small pieces are beginning to need to be replaced. I was happy to find these parts at a reasonable price and even happier that they were easy and quickly able to be installed. The parts came sooner than expected and work beautifully.

It took all of five minutes to install, the hardest part was me taking my old lifts off with out tearing up the hardware.
