Answered by Aldrin P. / Tue, Jul 07No, it has a ring of plastic clips in the center that secure it to the housing. Be careful pushing it into place; if you don't center it properly, you could bend or break some of the clips.

During installation it was discovered that my Tahoe did, in fact, have heated mirrors, although not indicated on the factory mirrors themselves. This replacement mirror was installed anyway. Just couldn't hook up the heat to it.
