Question: 2002 F250. How do I remove and install this mirror? Does it snap in or glue in?Craig R. / Apr 08, 2021
Hi Craig, I'm glad to help you out. The backing plate of the mirror glass has built-in tabs that snaps-in place when pressed inside the housing. I hope this helps, and you can click on the link below for direct ordering. Happy shopping.

It snaps in. Have to take a screw driver and pull it out, then make sure you put some grease on the new ball on the back and push in till it snaps

Answered by James O. / Thu, Apr 08Snaps in...but be careful on the install use a heat gun to warm up the areas where it snaps in...I didn't do this and the mirror shattered.

Answered by Mark O. S. / Thu, Apr 08Question: 2003 super duty lower mirror convex glass how do you remove it?Jeff H. / Oct 27, 2020
Hi Jeff,
We recommend referring to a good repair manual for step by step instructions. It may require basic automotive knowledge for proper installation and professional installation is always recommended. You can find more information here: https://www.carparts.com/blog/why-you-should-always-consult-a-repair-manual/

pull it out, pops out, look at the new one to see how it installs and you will see which direction to pull.
