Question: So I tried the non-heated mirror on my 2009 Saturn XR but the connection was completely different when I took the old one off - currently there are about six wires in lieu of the three on the new one and the current connection is smaller. Additionally the connection on the current one is short as the electric mirror adjustment is connected to the inside plastic panel you remove to get at the 10mm screws The current one installed in the car does not have the little heated lines on it so I don't think it is heated - not sure why it doesn't fit. What do you suggest my next step should be?

Answered by Aldrin P. / Mon, Jul 19Larry - I own a 2008 Aura XR that I bought brand new. I recently had to replace one of the side view mirrors. I thought mine came with heated mirrors, but like you said it didn't have the little heated lines on it. I still have the sticker that was on the window & it said heated mirrors were one of the options. I bought a replacement heated mirror & it was a perfect fit. For whatever reason, they just don't show it on the mirror. My plug has six lines on it also. Buy the heated mirror & you'll be good.
