Well it is different than my OEM mirror on my 2008 black Ford Edge but mostly in the fact that its nicer than the one that came on it originally. When your sitting there staring at the two you aren't sure exactly what's different you just know something is off about the shape. But its perfect for me and if at any point I decide I just need them to be symmetrical ill just order another mirror like this one since the price is so good.
