Normally, Expeditions and Navigators parts are pretty interchangeable. Not in this case. I tried putting the old mirror's harness on this new unit, but I couldn't find a wiring diagram. Now up is left and heat is right. Oh well. I don't need to move it much.

This passenger-side rear-view side mirror assembly was top notch and was like the original mirror assembly. I installed it myself after viewing a Youtube video. Works great. Be sure to test that the mirror moves when commanded by the driver's-side control switch before installing the assembly in the door; just plug the mirror assembly's connector into the mating connector on the passenger door. This driver side powered mirror has a textured black finish. It is advisable for you to choose a paintable mirror and yes, we do carry those types of mirrors.

Hi Hermise,
Based on the vehicles compatible with this mirror, I found a paintable one for the driver side (same as what you have chosen). The part number to check is FD57EL Driver Side, Power, Heated, and Paintable.
The mirror comes primed (ready to be painted). We do not offer painted mirrors. You may reach out to your local autobody parts shop to have the part painted so they can match the color of the vehicle.
