Normally, Expeditions and Navigators parts are pretty interchangeable. Not in this case. I tried putting the old mirror's harness on this new unit, but I couldn't find a wiring diagram. Now up is left and heat is right. Oh well. I don't need to move it much.

This passenger-side rear-view side mirror assembly was top notch and was like the original mirror assembly. I installed it myself after viewing a Youtube video. Works great. Be sure to test that the mirror moves when commanded by the driver's-side control switch before installing the assembly in the door; just plug the mirror assembly's connector into the mating connector on the passenger door. Question: Hello,
I have a 1998 Expedition Eddie Bauer with heated as well as turn signal mirrors.
I don't mind that your mirrors don't have those features.
My question is; will plug into the harness so they can be adjusted electronically?

Hi Gregory, I'm glad to assist you. The plug connector might not match since there are more prong terminal connectors on your original mirror since you have the turn signal light and this one does not have that feature. A plug adaptor would be needed if the socket connector would not match. You have to consult with your trusted local mechanic electrician if he can do a modification or work around.
