The original mirror sustained very minor damage and I am thinking about replacing it. Your product meets all the requirements I need but need to know if the painted cover portion on my original mirror - which is able to be popped off - would fit on your product. This way, no painting would be needed. Does your outside cover which is capable of being painted - can it be removed and replaced with my undamaged black painted original cover???Gary R. / Aug 04, 2020

Yes, the mirror cap is detachable on this and you can reuse the original cap of the old mirror.
