Hi,
Take off the mirror and look at the back of it. If it is a heated setup, there will be a filament attached directly to the mirror and wires connecting it to the power supply that turns on the defroster. If you do not want to go that route, you can prepare the VIN number and call the dealership to know if the mirror is heated or not. You can also ask them for the OE (Original Equipment) number and use it as a reference for the correct part.
