Answered by Arnel E. / Wed, Aug 03I have 2002 Mazda Protege 5 (Hatchback) and Yes, it fits. It has unpainted plastic cover on the back, snaps off, I used the oem cover to put on this mirror, did not had to repaint anything... Note - there is Mazda Protege (sedan) and Mazda Protege 5 (hatchback) for 2002 -2003 years, but I almost sure mirrors are the same on both. Hope this helps, take care...🙂

The other cool vue mirror you offer "2002 Mazda Protege - Mirror - Passenger Side, Power, Textured Black," only has one connector, both state exact fit for the same car.
