Answered by Aldrin P. / Wed, Apr 07As stated it comes in black primer. If you want to DIY the paint it isn't that difficult. There are places online that sell the base color and clear in a rattle can. That is what I did and it turned out fine. I paid about $50 for the paint. I assume a local body shop would be much more than that. Otherwise the mirror is good quality and the glass has a wider field of view than the factory MB part, so that was a nice bonus.

The driver assist is the safety system that ensures a safe distance is maintained to another vehicle in front of your car. This works with a system of sensors located around the vehicle. Based on the details of the mirror functionality, it does not mention about a driving assist type of sensor. If your original mirror has the drive assist sensor. this will not work.
