It was easy to put on. The directions were clear and easy to follow. The part fit perfectly. The inside door panel needs to come off to connect the electric control from the car to the mirror. I cannot do that. Other than that, I highly recommend ordering from this website

Hi Mark, I'm glad to assist you. This is a powered type of mirror assembly. This is not manually operated with a cable knob to adjust the mirror glass. The correct and matching part number is SET-GM51R. This is the manual type of mirror with manual lever adjustment. However, this is currently out of stock temporarily. Mark, It is a powered mirror (there is a motor inside). I used this replacement mirror on my 1997 Chevy Venture and it has an electrical connector. The installation was not too difficult. You do have to remove the door panel to get to the wiring harness connector.
