Question: A previous customer (Paul B, Feb 2021) indicated his original mirror was "black" (I assume this means unpainted). Your response: "The correct part number you need is TY140EL(smooth finish and paintable)". Hi Jack, I'm glad to assist you. A textured finish is unpainted and has a bit rough surface design, not smooth. Usually, the textured finish mirror does not need to be painted. You can use the mirror without having it painted. This is a basic powered mirror as well. The part number with a smooth finish is TY140EL. The mirror is nonheated, with power glass, no turn signal, no chrome, and it’s black. I’m looking at replacement but the color says “textured black”. My existing mirror seems smooth.
