It worked great. The original painted side mirror housing that matched the car paint perfectly was undamaged. I was able to easily remove internal parts of the <a href="http://CarParts.com" target="_blank">CarParts.com</a> mirror and reuse the original side mirror housing. No body shop needed because no painting was required.

The housing for the mirror didn't feel quite as sturdy as the original but at half the cost I was fine with the tradeoff. Installation was relatively simple once I researched a little bit on the internet. We didn't bother painting since it was being installed on my son's car. Overall, it was a great product at a great price! Will definitely use <a href="http://carparts.com" target="_blank">carparts.com</a> again in the future!

It was an involved process removing and reattaching the mirror particularly getting the wire harness through the tunnel in the door.
Not easy but I’m stubborn and cheap.
It all worked great in the end
