Hi,
The loudness of a muffler would not affect emissions test. Muffler has no effect on emissions just sound, emissions test go by on measuring the volume of exhaust gas that comes out how ever much or little. This is considering you have not removed the catalytic converter as well, when upgrading your muffler to the one with a louder sound output.

Hi Michael,
This is a universal type of muffler, not a vehicle specific direct fit part. This may require modification to make it fit, not a bolt on plug and play part. This has a 2.5 inch inlet and outlet piping diameter as well.

This is a universal part and can be used by a lot of vehicles. The specifications are inlet and outlet size 2.5 inches, height 4 inches, width 9.75 in, and body length of 13 inches.
