I purchased this muffler because of my great experience in the past with Flowmaster products. I've now installed 3 of them on 3 Ram trucks and they are awesome! As mentioned in the previous review, the sound is aggressive and throaty, although not obnoxious. The installation was relatively simple (fit exactly in the location it's supposed to) but we will end up welding it to ensure it remains in the desired location. The directions included helped and it's worth making the effort to lubricate the originally installed hangers, hardware, etc to assist in their removal.
Once again, highly satisfied with my new TOUGH sounding exhaust!

I went through 3 different mufflers looking for the right sound, I wanted a fairly loud muffler, but didn't want it to be loud in the cab. I bought Magnaflow mufflers and they were either too loud in the cab or too quiet outside. I finally found the perfect muffler and that is the 50 series H/D. This is the best muffler ever.
