Hi Mark, I'm glad to assist you. If on regular use the step pads goes bad, you can get that directly from Westin Automotive directly by calling on their toll free number-800-345-8476. Still this kit carries a 3 year warranty and if something goes bad inside 3 years, you can claim warranty within the period. I hope this helps.
