Question: Is there a easy way to install my switch ?Mike R. / Jul 07, 2023
Hi Mike, I'm glad to assist you. Please refer to a vehicle-specific service repair manual or a DIY online video-sharing website with car parts install tutorials (e.g., YouTube/Dailymotion). For us to check carefully and be accurate on the part you need, please provide the complete details of your vehicle (year, make, model, submodel, and engine size). The VIN would be much helpful.

Question: I have the metal frame with two screws will this fit?A Shopper / Jan 17, 2021
Hi, This is for several models with Automatic Transmission, and with electric door locks. To check the fitment please use our Vehicle Selector — which can be found towards the top of the homepage as well as all categories, search results, and product pages — can help verify if a part will fit your specific application. To enter your application, simply select your vehicle’s year, make, model, sub-model, and engine type and click “Go.” Once your application is selected, you’ll see a “Guaranteed to Fit” badge if the part will fit, and we recommend that you also double-check Your Vehicle Fit Details as well as the Vehicle Fitment Information table on the product page.

Question: If this is damaged would this cause truck to shift into gears but no movement?Jose H. / Oct 03, 2020
Hi Jose, One of the effects of damaged neutral safety switch is when the vehicle cranks over when the transmission in in park but not neutral, it's typically due to a faulty neutral safety switch. This symptom may also be attributed to other sources that is why a certified mechanic will need to inspect this in person to determine the correct course of action.
