Question: Hi-why does this O2 sensor have some kind of lube and others don’t? Also-I have a 2010 Chevy Cobalt lt with soft ride suspension and the sport package,I replaced both O2 sensors but it’s still throwing a p0054 and a p0449. What could be the issue? Tia MissyMissy / Feb 02, 2022
Hello! This oxygen sensor comes with anti seize, which should be put on the threads to avoid corrosion. Some manufacturers pre-apply anti seize to the threads. If you still have P0054 after replacing the oxygen sensor, then I would check the wiring diagrams in a repair manual for your vehicle and make sure the fuses and wiring are in good shape.
