Question: Hello, can I replace 2 sensor drive wire catalyst manufacturer Denso #234-4301? Are they will stop error “PO420 Catalyst System Efficiency below Threshold Bank 1”? My car 2005 Nissan Quest.kevin T. / Mar 23, 2024
Hi Kevin, thank you for reaching out. The possible cause of a DTC (diagnostic trouble code) P0420 isn't limited to the catalytic converter and the oxygen sensor. A lean fuel mixture from the intake manifold leak can cause the same trouble code. We highly suggest that a certified mechanic diagnose your vehicle to pinpoint the part needing replacement.
