Question: Why don't they say bank 1 or bank 2,how I know which is which?Christy S. / Jul 07, 2021
Hi Christy, I'm glad to help you out. Those are the firing order of the vehicle and not all vehicles have the same firing order. For a 4 cylinder, there's a 1-3-4-2, 1-3-2-4, 1-4-3-2 and 1-2-4-3 are possible. These parts are senors 1 and 2, which are for the upstream (before) and downstream (after) the catalytic converters. Bank 1 Sensor 1 is the first sensor closest to the engine. I hope this helps.
