The upstream and fown stream in the Saturn V6 are the same however you cannot switch bank 1 and bank 2. The short leads are towards the radiator, the long leads are towards the firewall. To install the rear plug, open up a coat hanger to pickup the wire from above.

Answered by Michael W. / Mon, Oct 10Question: What does the “Before” & “After” Catalytic Converter mean ? Does that deal with it being post/pre installed? I’m asking this because I have a Acura TL Type S 2007 and Code P0154 , P0420 , & P2254 came up on my car so now I need them ordered & installed. Can you please point me in the right direction so I can order these parts. Thanks In Advance.Juice J. / Mar 10, 2022
Hi Camonte, I'm glad to assist you. That means this can be installed/positioned on the upstream and downstream locations of your exhaust. You will need 2 upstream and 2 downstream sensors. Order two pairs of these sensors. Grab our sale price offer and click the link below to order today. I hope this helps. Happy shopping.

The pre-cat O2 sensors are installed in the exhaust manifold before the first catalytic converter on each exhaust manifold (hence the term pre-cat) they are used to adjust air/fuel ratios and are accessible from under the hood of the car in the front and rear of the engine bay on the exhaust manifold. They are not the same as the sensors located after the catalytic converters which are accessible from underneath the car. You will need to make sure not to mix them up when installing them because they look the same and have the same size threads but are not interchangeable since pre-cat O2 sensors are wideband sensors that adjust air/fuel ratios while post cat o2 sensors are not wideband and no nothing except monitor catalytic converter efficiency. Hope this helps. Btw make sure to disconnect the negative terminal from the car battery before installing them since it can short out the engine computer if you don't.
