2004 Ford ExplorerRadiator, 4.0L/4.6L Engines, Aluminum Core, Plastic Tank

Replaced the OEM radiator because it was corroded & clogged. It's been in for a week and it's working fine. Used the supplied clip-nuts, though the old ones were still good. Note: On this generation of Explorer the removal is not simple, but one can do it without disconnecting the transmission cooler. To facilitate later removal I switched three of the clip-nuts onto the frame and bolted it in from the engine side.

Question: I have 4 hose fittings and 2 lines running to my radiator. I don't see all those fittings on this replacement. Does this replacement have those fittings?Lorenzo H. / May 26, 2022
Hi Lorenzo, thank you for reaching out. No. Your radiator might have the transmission and oil cooler built in. Kindly call our parts team at 1-866-529-0412 and provide your VIN so we can help you look for the correct part.
