Hi Sterling, I'm glad to assist you. You can use the original clips/clamps and position the hose and clip correctly or you can also follow the suggestions of Jose and Sjoerd as well. If not good still, seek the help of a more experienced mechanic friend. I hope this helps. Happy shopping.

Answered by Jeonino E. / Mon, Mar 07Mine had the same problem. It does not go deep enough. I removed the big nut with clip and put some washer in there. I made one from a thick plastic ahead. This gives some depth for the transmission hose and make the Clio fit. I also used my old clips. They seem to be thinner

Answered by sjoerd W. / Mon, Mar 07Position the clip correctly push till you hear a click pull back to make sure full contact has been made. Note if you are using new clips that can be an issue for it to seat so try using the original clips to check for better seating.
