Works But Could Be BetterRear Window Seal - Sold Individually
3.0/5
I bought a set for my 1985 Dodge van. Installation of the channels inside the door does require removal of the door panels. The lower seals at the bottom edge of the window opening were a perfect fit and look great.
The forward channel which fits into the wing-window pillar also fits and works perfectly.
However the upper door edge channel fits poorly in the corner. The rubber edge isn't pre-molded to fit the curve in the corner of the window. When the channel is bent to conform to the corner, it wrinkles and doesn't fit well around the glass edge.
This might be correctable with some contact cement, but you shouldn't have to do that.
Still, the pieces are functional and restore the window channels so they form a nice air-tight seal to prevent noise, rattles and drafts. These are also much more affordable than the factory replacement pieces.
