Question: My car is very near 90,000 MI and my serpentine belt has a small tear down the middle for a foot long section so it needs replacing it because was dry rotted. Why should I buy this kit, versus ONLY BUY A BELT???WifeClsMeAzzhle / Oct 15, 2020
Hi Joshua,
If the tensioner and idler is worn out as well, I would suggest to order the complete kit. It would save you time and money for the labor cost. Those parts fit 1998-2002 Pontiac Firebird and 1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro Base 6 Cyl 3.8L.
