Hi Robert, I'm glad to assist you. No, it won't. This is only compatible with Jeeps. Unfortunately, we currently don't carry direct-fit shifters for the 86' Ranger. Answered by Aldrin P. / Tue, Oct 26Question: Will this work on a T5 tranmission in an 84 CJ7? I have a shift tower, but the white bushing that holds the cross pin, is missing. Also missing the small plastic part over the cross pin.I have the cup bushing that the bottom of the shifter goes in, in the selector, but what I need is above the metal cover, below the rubber boot.
