Question: The struts on my Nissan do not have the extra mounting plate on bottom of strut assembly. Can the pictured hardware be remove to allow a straight shaft to slide into chassis?Tracy B. / Mar 11, 2022
Hi Tracy, I'm glad to assist you. There are two types of the strut assembly. This one fits the 2013 to 2015 Nissan Rogue S, SV, SL All engines, FWD. The part numbers for the loaded struts, AWD, are 2333511L and 2333511R. These are probably what you need. It is recommended to replace both sides at the same time since they have a similar service lifetime. The other side can easily break down as well.
