I recently purchased a set of KYB Monomax shocks for my Toyota Prado. I live in Costa Rica and the roads are not great so I wanted something durable and that could handle the rough paved roads or the rocky mountain roads. I had them installed last week and since then have driven the car several times. The ride and control is great on paved roads and smooth on the rougher unpaved ones. The mechanic who installed them commented several times about how strong they were when he was performing the installation. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and I would recommend these shocks to anyone with a 4x4 SUV who wants a comfortable ride on rough roads.
