Purchased these rear shocks for my son's 1981 Cadillac Eldorado. I disabled the autoleveling system, which is basically rear air shocks that are raised/lowered automatically. It took a bit of force to make them fit, but at least it makes for a strong tight fit. A 100% improvement over the air shocks, imo. If you have problems with your auto level system or do not like air shocks, then these KYB's will fit and will work well.
