Good productRear, Driver Or Passenger Side Shock, Gr-2/Excel-G Series
4.0/5
Came with all the hardware necessary to reinstall. Hardest part of installation was removing bolts on old one. In fact broke the welded nut off of each of the old ones. Definitely need a pry bar. After getting three bolts off unscrewing the top of old shock was easy. Took the parts off of old shock and put them on new one with no trouble. Good advanced DIY.

Question: Do you need a spring compressor when changing out the rear shock absorber?Brian L. / Sep 26, 2023
Hi Brian, thank you for reaching out. A coil spring compressor isn't necessary when replacing the rear shock absorber of the 2002-2006 Nissan Altima. We recommend that you refer to a vehicle-specific repair manual for instructions. You can find more information here: https://www.carparts.com/blog/why-you-should-always-consult-a-repair-manual/ Click this link to order the part at a discounted price today while supplies last: https://www.carparts.com/shock-absorber-and-strut-assembly/kyb/set-ky344395?can=CPAP3648_CSQA_20230926 I hope this helps.
