Question: 1985 Ford Ranger XLT 2wd do you have a set for the front shocks like the rear for a stiffer front end for less lean?Rangernick / Jul 29, 2021
Hi Nickolas, I'm glad to assist you. The front shocks appropriate for your vehicle with upgraded specifications is with part number H7055 by Skyjacker. This is a performance replacement and an upgrade from the stock shock absorber. Take advantage of our lowest price offer for these parts, click the 2 links below to order these today. That comprises the rear pair of shocks by Monroe and the Skyjacker for the front. Just change the quantity to 2 pieces for the Skyjacker shocks after adding to cart. Question: 99 Ford Ranger XL 2wd. I need to install these newly purchased Monroe strut/shocks along with a rear lift kit, hoping to get a minimum of 3"s of lift. Will 3"s of lift to bed of truck compromise this shock and how much lift would be a maximum? Thank you..Gene / Jan 10, 2025
Hi Gene, I'm glad to assist you. This set of rear shocks is incompatible if you have a lift kit to install and should achieve a 3-inch lift for the rear. You should look up 3-inch rear shock absorbers with a 3-inch lift to match the lift kit you already have. Still, it is best to call our parts specialist (for real-time, live, and immediate assistance) on our toll-free number, 1-866-529-0412 (Monday through Sunday).
