Rear, Driver And Passenger Side Shock, Load Adjusting Series
5.0/5
Arrived faster then front shock struts ordered on the same day from another parts store. Fast easy installation time. Truck rides so much better with overload shocks even when truck bed is empty or loaded.

After removal of old, new ones were quick install, truck rear came up almost 2 inches, the ride is pretty good just a little stiffer in the rear. This was a good upgrade

Question: Have a 2008 trailblazer with OE plain shocks. Want to use these Monroe shocks with coil for rear on each side. Looks very easy, with only an upper and lower horizontal bolt on each side. Really? Any advice for me?SemperFi ChuLai / Jul 21, 2023
Hi Jim, I'm pleased to assist you. Yes, you are correct. Installing rear shocks with built-in coils on your 2008 Trailblazer is a relatively straightforward task. This simplifies the installation process and ensures that the components work together seamlessly, potentially reducing installation time and costs. Coilovers are built with high-quality materials and precision engineering, which can make them more durable and reliable than some OE plain shocks.
