I wanted to go the Skyjacker route for cost and quality reasons as I was adding a leveling kit to my Jeep. I consulted an APW associate for advice, as Skyjacker offered a prouct to accomodate a 2.5 inch lift in the front, but not a shock for the stock height in the rear. Once we figured out a what series of what shock would compliment the project I was steered toward the Hydro 7000. Installation was a snap, all parts were present. The ride is not as firm as I wanted, but it is a good shock.
